All full-time employees and officers, duly appointed or hired hereunder, who shall have been employed by the city for one continuous year, shall be entitled to a one-week vacation with full pay per year. All of said employees who shall have been employed by the city for two continuous years shall be entitled to a two-week vacation with full pay per year; all of said employees who shall have been employed by the city for five continuous years shall be entitled to three weeks of vacation time with full pay per year. Annual vacation leave must be used on an annual basis or will be paid, at regular time, to the employee on the employee’s anniversary date. Full-time employees desiring to go on vacation need approval from the Mayor prior to taking said vacation.
