§ 91.005 LIMITATION ON ANIMALS.
   (A)   No living unit within the city shall contain more than six licensed chickens, three licensed dogs, three licensed cats, three rabbits, three licensed foxes, and three raccoons, all of which are over the age of six months. For the purpose of this section, LIVING UNIT is defined as a household which is billed separately for water service by the city. ANIMALS, as used in this section, excludes indoor domesticated birds, indoor domesticated reptiles, amphibians and fish, and indoor domesticated mammals other than dogs, cats, rabbits, and foxes.
   (B)   A violation of this section is declared to constitute a nuisance per se and otherwise a violation of this chapter.
   (C)   Any owner who owns or maintains more than the number of animals allowed and as defined in division (A) above, prior to June 1, 2020, may keep such animals, upon satisfying licensing requirements. Once such owner’s animals die or leave the city, the animals may not return or be replaced until the owner comes into compliance with the animal limit as indicated in division (A) above.
