§ 154.043 PLANNING DIRECTOR REVIEW.
   (A)   The Planning Director shall approve or disapprove the final plat within 60 days of application.
   (B)   During the review of the final plat, the Planning Director may appoint an engineer or surveyor to confirm the accuracy of the final plat. If substantial errors are found, the costs shall be charged to the subdivider or the applicant shall be required to reappear before the Planning Board and City Council.
   (C)   If the Planning Director approves the final plat, the approval shall be indicated on each copy of the plat by the following signed certificate.

   (D)   Upon approval and certification, as provided in division (C) above, the original tracing and one print of the plat shall be returned to the subdivider. One print shall be filed with the City Clerk, and one print shall be filed with the Director of Public Works.
   (E)   If the Planning Director disapproves the final plat, the Director shall state in writing his or her reasons for this action, specifying the provisions of this chapter with which the plat does not comply. One copy of this statement shall be transmitted to the subdivider within 15 days of disapproval. The other copy shall be retained by the Planning Director as a part of the project file.
