§ 154.029 PLANNING BOARD REVIEW.
   (A)   The Planning Board shall review and take action on each preliminary, major plat within 60 days after first consideration by the Board. The consideration shall be at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Board after the major plat has been submitted to the City Planner. Before taking action on the plat, the Planning Board may refer copies of the plat and any accompanying material to those public officials and agencies concerned with new development including, but not limited to, the Director of Public Works and the Building Inspector, the County Health Department, the District Engineer of the North Carolina Highway Commission and the Whiteville School Superintendent for review and recommendations.
   (B)   Upon completion of the preliminary, major plat review, the Planning Board shall recommend approval, conditional approval, or disapproval of the plat and submit the plat to the City Council along with its recommendation.
