(A) Minor subdivisions are not subject to review by the Planning and Zoning Board and the City Council. The City Planning Director may approve or disapprove minor subdivisions.
(B) The Planning Director shall also be responsible for the administrative review and approval or disapproval of minor plats. The Planning Director may refer copies of the plat and any accompanying material to agencies that require approval for associated improvements and developments such as the Director of Public Works and the Building Inspector, the County Health Department, the District Engineer of the North Carolina Highway Commission and the Whiteville School Superintendent for review and recommendations.
(C) If the subdivider feels that the decision made by the City Planner/Zoning Administrator is incorrect or if he or she would like to appeal, the procedures outlined in Zoning Ordinance § 155.262 shall be followed.
