§ 154.025 PRE-APPLICATION.
Prior to the filing of an application for the approval of a preliminary plat, the subdivider should consult with the Planning Director or his or her designee in order to obtain advice and assistance. This consultation is intended to inform the subdivider of the purpose and objectives of these regulations, the adopted thoroughfare plan and duly adopted plan implementation ordinances of the city, and to otherwise assist the subdivider in planning his or her development. In so doing, both the subdivider and city may reach mutual conclusions regarding the general program and objectives of the proposed development and its possible effects on the neighborhood and city, and the subdivider will gain a better understanding of the subsequent required procedures.
