§ 154.010 COMPLIANCE WITH OFFICIAL PLANS/DOCUMENTS.
   (A)   Land development plan. All subdivision of land should conform to the plans for development as set forth in the officially adopted land development plan. Careful consideration must be made when all nonconforming subdivisions are proposed. The developer will be notified at the preliminary meeting with city staff of language addressing subdivisions found in the plan.
   (B)   Thoroughfare plan. All subdivision roads and road improvements shall be congruent with the official thoroughfare plan. All subdivision roads shall be designed to the standards set forth by this chapter or the thoroughfare plan, whichever is most stringent.
   (C)   Zoning ordinance. All land use activity, including the subdivision of property, shall be regulated by the officially adopted zoning ordinance. All proposed subdivisions shall be or become in conformance with the zoning ordinance before any subdivision of land shall take place.
