§ 154.006 CITY’S ACCEPTANCE OF DEDICATED LANDS OR FACILITIES.
   The City Council is authorized by the General Statutes to accept the dedication of lands or facilities for streets, parks, public utility lines or other public purposes when the land is located within the city’s subdivision regulation jurisdiction, which is the city limits and the extraterritorial jurisdiction. However, the city shall not be held liable to open, operate, repair or maintain a street, utility line or other land or facility by virtue of an acceptance.
