§ 153.40 FIRESTOPPING AND DRAFTSTOPPING.

(A) Firestopping shall be maintained to cut off all concealed draft openings both horizontal and vertical and to form a fire barrier between floors and between the upper floor and the roof space.

(B) Draftstopping shall be maintained to cut off all concealed draft openings in floor/ceiling assemblies and in attics.
