§ 71.19 “CHILDREN AT PLAY” AND “DEAF CHILD” SIGNS PROHIBITED.
   “Children at Play” and “Deaf Child” signs are not approved for use on state owned roads, and they are prohibited on city-owned streets. The use of these signs may convey to the public that the city will assume the responsibility of protecting children while in city streets; the city will not assume this responsibility from parents, guardians, and caretakers of children. The presence of children is to be expected in residential areas inside the corporate limits.
