§ 43.01 DANGEROUS WEAPON(S); FIREARMS AND WEAPONS; DISCHARGE.
   (A)   Dangerous weapon(s).  
      (1)   For the purposes of this chapter, the term DANGEROUS WEAPON shall be defined as any device or substance designed or capable of being used to inflict serious injury to any person or property including, but not limited to:
         (a)   Firearm;
         (b)   Gun;
         (c)   Rifle;
         (d)   Pistol;
         (e)   Metallic knuckles;
         (f)   Clubs;
         (g)   Blackjacks;
         (h)   Nightsticks;
         (I)   Dynamite cartridges;
         (j)   Bombs;
         (k)   Grenades;
         (l)   Explosives;
         (m)   Molotov cocktails; and
         (n)   Sword canes.
      (2)   Further, it is unlawful for any person willfully and intentionally to carry concealed about his or her person any Bowie knife, dirk, dagger, sling shot, loaded cane, metallic knuckles, razor, shuriken, stun gun, or other deadly weapon of like kind, except when the person is on the person’s own premises.

   (B)   Discharge.
      (1)   No person shall discharge or shoot, within the corporate limits of the city, any:
         (a)   Firearm;
         (b)   Rifle; or
         (c)   Pistol.
      (2)   This section shall not apply in defending one’s self or property or the safety and property of others nor to a firing or archery range operated or supervised by an individual, club or organization for educational or sporting purposes, if such firing or archery range has first been inspected by the city.
