§ 42.02 POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE CHIEF OF POLICE.
   The Police Chief shall have control over the police department, under the general supervision of the City Manager. The Police Chief shall keep the City Manager informed of the department’s activities and make the reports that the City Manager my require from time to time, and he or she shall perform other duties as may be required of him or her by the City Manager.
