§ 21.36 CITY MANAGER.
   The City Manager is appointed by the Council and shall hold his or her office at the pleasure of the Board. The City Manager shall be the Chief Administrator of the city. As provided for in G.S. § 160A-148, he or she shall be responsible to the Council for administering all municipal affairs placed in his or her charge by them.
