No person shall remove any sink, basin, stationary tub, commode or other stationary device or equipment connected in any manner with the public sewage system in the city, so as to allow to escape from the public sewage system or sewer, or such connection or device, any vile odors, gases or other sewer gas to the annoyance or injury or inconvenience of any person in the city.
