§ 37.23  RECORDS; RULES OF PROCEDURE; WITNESS FEES.
   The Police Judge shall keep a record of all cases brought before him or her; and shall file and preserve all complaints, warrants, fines and costs imposed and other papers which are part of the record of such cases. The papers in each case shall be arranged together and numbered to correspond with the number on the Court’s record. The laws governing the competency of witnesses and the general rules of evidence shall be the same in the Police Court as in trial before a magistrate.
