§ 37.02  MUNICIPAL JUDGE; QUALIFICATIONS, TERMS AND THE LIKE.
   There shall be a judge, to be known as the Municipal Judge, who shall be appointed by the Mayor. The person(s) so appointed as Municipal Judge shall be an at-will employee and shall serve at the will and pleasure of the Mayor. The Municipal Judge shall be paid a monthly salary and such amount shall be agreed upon by the Municipal Judge and the Mayor. This amount shall be a set monthly salary and shall not be based on a per diem. The Municipal Judge must also meet all requirements as set forth in W.Va. Code §§ 8-10-2(b) and (c). The person(s) so appointed as Municipal Judge shall qualify by taking the oath of office as such and shall give bond in an amount fixed by Council, under which bond he or she shall be responsible for all funds coming into his or her hands by virtue of such appointment.
