§ 37.01  COURT CREATED; JURISDICTION GENERALLY.
   There is hereby created a court, to be known as the Municipal Court, which shall have criminal jurisdiction over violations of city ordinances and the criminal jurisdiction of a magistrate of the state with respect to offenses committed within the city limits.
