Except as otherwise specified in this subchapter, the entirety of any license fee designated as an annual fee shall be billed on or about June 1 in each year, and shall be paid within 30 days of the bill being sent. All annual licenses provided for by this subchapter shall be issued for a term of one year beginning on July 1 and ending on the next succeeding June 30. Where licenses of other periods are authorized by this subchapter, they shall be of such duration, and shall begin and end on such dates, as the City Recorder may provide; but the City Recorder shall select such dates as state law requires, if any, for any correlative state licenses, certificates or permits.
