§ 112.01  PERMIT REQUIRED; APPLICATION INFORMATION.
   All persons before entering in or upon private residences in the city as peddlers or solicitors of orders for the sale of goods, wares, merchandise or printed matter or pursuant to any political, educational, charitable, religious or civic organization, are hereby required to register and obtain a permit from the Mayor and furnish the following information: full name of registrant and local address, if any; permanent home address; a physical description of the applicant, setting forth age, height, weight, color of hair and eyes, and sex; motor vehicle registration number, if any; Social Security number, if any; nature of goods, wares, merchandise and printed matter offered for sale or the nature of the solicitation; name and address of the firm for or on whose behalf the orders are solicited or the supplier of the goods involved; a statement as to the period during which the applicant intends to peddle or solicit orders; a specimen of the applicant’s signature; a statement as to whether the applicant has been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude and, if so, where and the nature of the offense and the punishment or penalty imposed therefor.
