§ 93.03  PERMIT FEES.
   (A)   Permits to make an excavation in any portion of the municipal streets, including tree lawns and sidewalks, shall be charged at the following rates:
      (1)   Paved streets at $15 per square yard of opening with a minimum charge of not less than $12;
      (2)   Unpaved or dirt streets and lawn strips at $3 per square yard of opening with a minimum charge of $6; and
      (3)   Sidewalks at $5 per square yard of opening and a minimum charge of $5.
   (B)   If a minimum charge or more be paid for opening a paved street, there shall be no additional charge for the openings in the tree lawn and sidewalk in connection therewith.
   (C)   If a permit is secured by any public utility for the extension of old or laying of new feed lines in any street in which the length of the trench exceeds 30 feet, the fee for such opening in excess of 30 feet shall be based on the actual cost of maintenance and restoration of the surface of the street to its original condition.
