If I should leave my employment with the City of White Sulphur Springs/Police Department by my choice prior to the completion of one year, I will reimburse the City of White Sulphur Springs for all amount of money spent by the City of White Sulphur Springs for my salary and/or benefits received by me during my training at the academy which was/will be from ___________ to ________.

(B) Police officer.
This agreement, made and entered into ___________ day of __________, ______ by and between the City of White Sulphur Springs, a municipal corporation in the State of West Virginia, with principal offices at 34 West Main Street. White Sulphur Springs, Greenbrier County, West Virginia. Hereby referred to as “city” and ____________________, residing at ___________________, West Virginia, hereinafter referred to as “employee”.
Whereas, the City of White Sulphur Springs desires to employ employee and employee accepts employment from the City of White Sulphur Springs as a city police officer, subject to and in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement:
Term of employment: employee’s employment will begin on the ___________ day of __________, ______ and will continue thereafter until terminated by either of the parties hereto, pursuant to the personnel policies presently it effects.
Compensation: The city shall pay employee a salary or wage at such rate or rates as may from time to time approved by the City Council of White Sulphur Springs.
Employee’s titles and duties: City hires employee as a city police officer and his or her duties are to enforce the laws and ordinances of the City of White Sulphur Springs and the statutes of the State of West Virginia, and such other activities or duties as may be directed by the Chief of Police or Mayor of the City of White Sulphur Springs.
Professional training: The City of White Sulphur Spring will make such arrangements as may be necessary as to enable the employee to attend the West Virginia State Police Academy to acquire the basic training required by the State of West Virginia for municipal police officers in the State of West Virginia. In consideration of the City of White Sulphur Springs paying the cost of the training and paying employee’s salary during such period of time as he or she is engaged in training at West Virginia State Police Academy. Employee hereby agrees not to work for any other police department or agency within the State of West Virginia for a period of time of two years form the time of completion of the training at the West Virginia State Police Academy.
In the event that prior to engaging in said training, or during the course of his or her training and failure to satisfactorily complete the training in accordance with the requirements with the State of West Virginia, then at said time employee’s employment shall be terminated without further notice.
Entire agreement: This instrument is the entire agreement of the City of White Sulphur Springs and employee, but there is incorporated herein by reference all employee and personnel policies promulgated or passed by the City of White Sulphur Springs prior hereto; and this agreement is subject to such modifications as may be enacted or any other agreements or requirements determined by the city of White Sulphur Springs and passed by it’s governing body.
