§ 30.02  FINGERPRINTING POLICY.
   (A)   The City Police Department offers walk-in fingerprinting services for pre-employment or licensing background checks. The service is offered Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. There is no appointment needed; however, services are subject to an officer’s availability based on call volume. Without a wait or exceptional circumstances, fingerprinting typically takes about 15 minutes.
   (B)   The City Police Department will charge a nominal fee of $20 for residents having a city address and $25 for all other residents. Active duty military fingerprints are free. Residency status is determined by the address printed on your driver’s license or state identification card.

   (C)   All moneys received in regard to this section shall be deposited into the City Police Department General Revenue Account. The moneys will be used to offset the operating costs of the Department.
