Whoever violates any provision of this Traffic Code for which another penalty is not provided shall, for a first conviction thereof, be fined not more than $100 or imprisoned not more than ten days; for a second such conviction within one year thereafter such person shall be fined not more than $200 or imprisoned not more than 20 days, or both; and upon a third or subsequent conviction such person shall be fined not more than $500 or imprisoned not more than 30 days, or both.
