§ 6.1.17 REMOVAL OF PARKED, ABANDONED, OR SALVAGE VEHICLES.
   For the purpose of §§ 6.1.18 through 6.1.27, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   ABANDONED MOTOR VEHICLE OR OTHER PERSONAL PROPERTY. A motor vehicle or personal property which remains upon the streets or other public property of the City for a period longer than five days, or upon the right-of-way of any public highway for a period longer than 48 hours, the owner of which cannot be located, or if the owner refuses to remove the same.
   SALVAGE MOTOR VEHICLE. A vehicle, or parts thereof, which have been damaged or otherwise destroyed and are incapable of movement due to the damage, and include vehicles which have not been issued a salvage title.
   STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE OR OTHER PERSONAL PROPERTY. Property which the law enforcement department has reasonable grounds to believe to be stolen.
   UNIDENTIFIED MOTOR VEHICLE OR OTHER PERSONAL PROPERTY. Motor vehicles or other personal property where ownership thereof cannot be ascertained. (1985 Code, § 10.03.010) (Ord. 373, passed 3-3-2020)
