§ 6.1.15 REGULATING KINDS AND CLASSES OF TRAFFIC ON CERTAIN STREETS.
   (A)   Load restrictions upon vehicles using certain streets. When signs are erected by the authority of the Council giving notice thereof, it shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle with a gross weight in excess of the amounts specified.
   (B)   Restrictions upon use of streets by certain vehicles.
      (1)   The Chief of Police is hereby authorized to determine and designate those heavily traveled streets upon which shall be prohibited the use of the roadway by motor-driven cycles, bicycles, horse-drawn vehicles or other non-motorized traffic and shall erect appropriate signs giving notice thereof.
      (2)   When signs are so erected giving notice thereof, it shall be unlawful for any person to disobey the restrictions stated on such signs.
