For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
FIREARMS. Any weapon, including a starter gun, which will or is designed to or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by action of any explosive, air-powered or human propulsion; the frame or receiver of any such weapon; and any firearm muffler or firearm silencer. The term includes, but is not limited to, a pistol, rifle, shotgun, air rifle, B-B gun, sling or flipper.
