The City Judge shall possess the qualifications for office required by law for a justice of the peace under Title 3, Ch. 10, Part 2 of the Montana Code Annotated. And, in addition, shall:
(A) Be a resident of the City;
(B) Be registered to vote in Meagher County; and
(C) Be subject to a background check at the time of appointment and shall not have any felony conviction upon their record.
