§ 9.1.4 BEACON LIGHTS REQUIRED ON CERTAIN STRUCTURES.
   (A)   Any structure within the City limits which is between 50 feet and 100 feet in height shall have a determination made thereupon by the City Council as to whether such structure should have a light atop the structure for proper notification of aircraft. Such determination is at the discretion of the City Council.
   (B)   Any structure within the City limits which exceeds 100 feet in height shall have flashing red light on top of such structure in accordance with FAA requirements.
   (C)   The owner of any structure located within the City limits which exceeds 50 feet in height shall, prior to construction of such structure, file in the office of the City Clerk an application in writing for a determination of whether a light on top of such structure shall be required by the City.
   (D)   The owner of any structure which, by this section, is required to have a light or which has been determined by the City Council to have a light, shall ensure that such structure is properly lit within ten days of completion of construction thereof, or within 30 days after passage and approval hereof for structures previously in existence.
