Every person, firm or corporation doing electrical business within the municipality shall execute and deliver to the municipality a bond with a surety bonding company in the sum of $2,000 to indemnify the municipality or any citizen for any damage caused by the failure of such person, firm or corporation doing the electrical work to comply strictly with the provisions of this chapter.
