Any person wishing to appeal a decision of the Building Inspector on the grounds that the decision misconstrues or wrongly interprets this chapter may, within 30 days of the decision, appeal the same to the City Council, providing that the appealing party shall give notice of appeal in writing to the City Secretary within ten days following the decision appealed from and, provided further, that the appealing party shall comply with the Inspector’s decision pending appeal unless the Inspector shall direct otherwise.
