10.20.020: EXCEPTIONS:
   A.   This chapter does not apply to the following exceptional circumstances:
      1.   Any peace officer discharging a firearm in the performance of his official duties;
      2.   The discharge of a firearm in a shooting gallery or any designated pistol or rifle range;
      3.   The discharge of a firearm by any person in the necessary defense of himself, his family or property. (Ord. 5/10/73 §2, 1963)
