For the purpose of this chapter the following terms, phrases, words and their derivations shall have the meaning given herein. When not inconsistent with the context, words used in the present tense include the future tense, and words used in the singular number include the plural. "Shall" is always mandatory and not merely directory:
ANIMAL: | Any and all types of animals both domesticated and wild, male and female, singular and plural, excepting dogs and cats. |
ESTRAY AND AT LARGE: | Off the premises of the owner or custodian of the animal or fowl and not under the immediate control of the owner or custodian. |
FOWL: | Any and all fowl or birds domesticated and wild, male and female, singular and plural. |
TOWNS: | As used herein are the following: A. Baker, as heretofore platted and of record in the County Recorder's office; B. East Ely, including therein all of Ely City townsite and the Park Addition to Ely City townsite, as heretofore platted and of record in the County Recorder's office; C. Lund, Blocks One through Fourteen, inclusive, of the Lund Townsite Plat Survey; D. McGill, as heretofore platted and of record in the County Recorder's office; E. Preston, Blocks One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven and Eight, of Preston Town Survey, and Lots Two, Three, Six and Seven of Block 14A of the Preston Ten-Acre Plat Survey; F.
