It is unlawful to place or maintain guard dogs in any area for the protection of persons or property unless the following conditions are met:
A. The dogs shall be confined to a secure, enclosed, and dog tight area adequate to ensure that they will not escape; and
B. Warning signs shall be conspicuously posted on the property indicating the presence of guard dogs and shall plainly show a telephone number where some person responsible for controlling the guard dogs can be reached at all times. (Ord. 521, 2021: Ord. 321 (part), 1997)
