8.04.075: DOGS IN COUNTY PARKS:
   A.   All persons who walk dogs in any park within White Pine County are responsible to pick up all waste and refuse left by their dogs in a county park.
      1.   All persons shall carry with them the necessary items such as plastic bags, trowels or other tools necessary to clean up after their dogs.
      2.   Upon request of the animal control officer or of any sheriff's officer, the person walking a dog shall demonstrate his present ability to clean up after his or her animals.
   B.   All persons who walk dogs in any park within White Pine County must ensure the dog is properly licensed by the authority where the dog resides and/or the owner resides.
   C.   Any violation of this section is punishable in justice court as a civil wrong and shall pay all civil penalties imposed by justice court.
   D.   The justice of the peace may warn any violator on a first offense, however, all persons committing repeat offenses shall pay a minimum civil penalty of twenty five dollars ($25.00).
   E.   White Pine County shall post a warning sign similar to exhibit A, attached to the ordinance codified herein, at each end of all county parks which include, without limitation, Marich Field, White Pine County Golf Course, McGill Ballpark, Courthouse County Park, and Ruth Park.
