The purposes of this chapter are to:
A. Declare that takings of private property within White Pine County, Nevada, for public uses are legal government actions that serve interests of the public at large;
B. Establish a clear and uniform process whereby owners of taken property in White Pine County, Nevada, can obtain vindication of all property rights guaranteed by this chapter, the Nevada state constitution, and the fifth and fourteenth amendments to the United States constitution; and
C. Require federal, state and local governments to compensate owners of property in White Pine County, Nevada, for deprivation of their property rights due to enforcement of federal, state or locally mandated programs. (Ord. 339 §2, 1999)
