It is the purpose and intent of the Borough of White Oak to establish a process to address the problem of abandoned personal and real property located within the Borough. It is the Borough's further intent to specifically establish an abandoned residential property registration and a mechanism to compel mortgagees and others in the execution process to maintain such affected properties in order to protect residential neighborhoods from becoming blighted through the lack of adequate maintenance and security.
