§ 32.02 VOTING DISTRICTS.
   (A)   The Town Council hereby establishes five voting districts for the town, each district defined as follows:
      (1)   District l. District l shall be comprised of that area within the corporate boundaries of the town located east of U.S. 31 and north of Main Street; plus the adjacent area within the corporate boundaries of the town described as beginning at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Whiteland Road/Main Street, then northwesterly along U.S. 31 to its intersection with Ardmoor Drive, then meandering westerly, southwesterly, southeasterly, and southerly with Ardmoor Drive to its intersection with Parkway Street, then east along Parkway Street to Hill Street, then south along Hill Street to Whiteland Road, and then east along Whiteland Road to U.S. 31, the point of beginning; plus the adjacent area within the corporate boundaries of the town described as beginning at the intersection of Main Street and West Street, then westerly along Main Street to its intersection with U.S. 31, then southeasterly along U.S. 31 to its intersection with Brewer Ditch, then northeasterly along Brewer Ditch to a westerly extension of the northern boundary of the Springhill Subdivision, then easterly along the extended northern boundary of the Springhill Subdivision approximately 1,100 feet, then southerly along the boundary of Springhill Subdivision approximately 120 feet, then easterly along the boundary of Springhill Subdivision approximately 235 feet, then southerly along the boundary of Springhill Subdivision approximately 1,200 feet, then easterly along the boundary of Springhill Subdivision approximately 435 feet to the centerline of the Louisville and Indiana Railroad right-of-way, then northwesterly along said railroad right-of-way approximately 110 feet, then easterly approximately 570 feet to the public road called Elm Street in Saddlebrook Farms South Subdivision, then meandering northeasterly with the road to its intersection with Pearl Street, then easterly approximately 130 feet, then northerly approximately 315 feet to a point on the centerline of Main Street, and then westerly along Main Street to the intersection of Main Street and West Street, the point of beginning.
      (2)   District 2. District 2 shall be comprised of all that area within the corporate boundaries of the town located west of U.S. 31, but excluding the area described as beginning at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Whiteland Road/Main Street, then northwesterly along U.S. 31 to its intersection with Ardmoor Drive, then meandering westerly, southwesterly, southeasterly, and southerly with Ardmoor Drive to its intersection with Parkway Street, then east along Parkway Street to Hill Street, then south along Hill Street to Whiteland Road, and then east along Whiteland Road to U.S. 31, the point of beginning.
      (3)   District 3. District 3 shall be comprised of all that area within the corporate boundaries of the town located east of U.S. 31 and south of Main Street, but excluding the area described as beginning at the intersection of Main Street and West Street, then westerly along Main Street to its intersection with U.S. 31, then southeasterly along U.S. 31 to its intersection with Brewer Ditch, then northeasterly along Brewer Ditch to a westerly extension of the northern boundary of the Springhill Subdivision, then easterly along the extended northern boundary of the Springhill Subdivision approximately 1, 100 feet, then southerly along the boundary of Springhill Subdivision approximately 120 feet, then easterly along the boundary of Springhill Subdivision approximately 235 feet, then southerly along the boundary of Springhill Subdivision approximately 1,200 feet, then easterly along the boundary of Springhill Subdivision approximately 435 feet to the centerline of the Louisville and Indiana Railroad right-of-way, then northwesterly along said railroad right-of-way approximately 110 feet, then easterly approximately 570 feet to the public road called Elm Street in Saddlebrook Farms South Subdivision, then meandering northeasterly with the road to its intersection with Pearl Street, then easterly approximately 130 feet, then northerly approximately 315 feet to a point on the centerline of Main Street, and then westerly along Main Street to the intersection of Main Street and West Street, the point of beginning.
      (4)   District 4. District 4 shall be the entire corporate area of the town and shall be an At-Large District.
      (5)   District 5. District 5 shall be the entire corporate area of the town and shall be an At-Large District.
   (B)   As land is annexed into the town, (unless a subsequent ordinance governing the voting districts is passed by the Whiteland Town Council) said land shall be in the voting district which is contiguous with the annexed land at the time of passage of the annexation ordinance.
   (C)   The Town Council shall have one member from each of the Districts 1, 2, 3, and two At-Large members. Each district Town Council member shall be a resident of the district in which the member resides. The two At-Large members may be a resident of any district,
   (D)   All Town Council members whether elected from a district or At-Large shall be elected by the voters of the town.
