(A) Established. Pursuant to IC 36-10-3-1 et seq. and any and all amendments thereto, the Park and Recreation Board of the town is hereby established.
(B) Membership. The Board shall be composed of four members to be appointed by the President, providing that no more than two members of the Board shall be affiliated with the same political party.
(C) Term. Upon establishment of the Board, the term of the members initially appointed shall be one, two, three and four years respectively. Thereafter as a term expires each new appointment shall be for a four-year term. All terms shall expire on the first Monday in January but an appointee shall continue in office until his successor is appointed.
(D) Powers. The town hereby adopts the Park and Recreation Law as defined in IC Titles 20 and 36, and incorporates said laws and all amendments thereto by reference.
