(A) Whenever any work is being done contrary to the provisions of this chapter, the Building Commissioner may order the work stopped by notice in writing served upon any persons engaged in the doing or causing of such work to be done and any such persons shall forthwith stop such work until authorized by the Building Commissioner to proceed with the work.
(B) The Town Marshall, upon request therefore or whenever discovering any hazards, shall assist the Building Commissioner in enforcing any provision of this title, or any other Building or Zoning Ordinances. The Building Commissioner, in urgent cases, may ask for the Town Marshall to accompany him or them to any premise to help enforce the law, serve required notices or make arrests where necessary.
