§ 30.07  TOWN RECORDS.
(A)   (1)   The Clerk shall be allowed to dispose of records, as permitted by G.S. § 121-5.
   (2)   The Mayor shall be in agreement with the Clerk as to what is to be discarded.

(B)   (1)   The municipal records retention and disposition schedule approved by the State Division of Archives and History and the Department of Cultural Resources has been adopted by the Board of Commissioners.
   (2)   The schedule is on file in the Clerk’s office.
