§ 30.04  DUTIES OF MAYOR.
   (A)   The Mayor shall preside at and conduct the meetings of the Board of Commissioners.
   (B)   The Mayor is designated as the officer to prepare and file the sworn statements of indebtedness required by the Local Government Finance Act, after a bond order has been introduced and before the public hearing thereon; and also to determine the amount to be inserted in any statement as the estimated amount of any special assessments thereafter to be levied on account of local improvements for which any part of the gross debt set forth in the statement was or is to be incurred, and which, when collected, will be applied to the payment of the gross debt.
