(A) When signs are erected giving notice thereof, it shall be unlawful for any person to operate any vehicle with more than two axles on those specified town-maintained residential streets identified on the town's current Powell Bill map.
(B) The following types of vehicles shall be exempt from this section:
(1) Governmental services vehicles, specifically fire trucks, garbage trucks, and street maintenance equipment; and
(2) Delivery-type trucks, such as a moving van or service truck, when no other alternate route is available.
