(a) The Administrator for the Village of Whitehouse is hereby authorized and granted the authority to make contracts, purchase supplies and materials, and provide labor for any work under the Administrator’s supervision for not more than thirty thousand dollar ($30,000.00). Said actions shall be without the need for the approval of Council and may be done without formal bid requirements contained in Ohio law.
(b) In the event an emergency is declared by the Mayor of the Village of Whitehouse, this limit shall be suspended and not applicable during the term of the emergency and until the Mayor of the Village of Whitehouse lifts the emergency provision.
(c) Commencing January 1, 2025, and every January 1 thereafter, the limit set forth in subsection (a) herein shall be increased by three percent (3%) per year.
