157.04 PUBLIC RECORDS POLICY.
   (a)   Pursuant to the requirements of Ohio R.C. 149.43 as same is effective September 29, 2007, Council hereby codifies the designation of the following persons to serve as official designees for questions, training and compliance with the Ohio Public Records Act in all respects as required by law for all elected officials of the Village of Whitehouse, Lucas County, Ohio, to wit:
      (1)   The Village Administrator;
      (2)   The Village Finance Director; and
      (3)   The designated Village Office Administrative Clerk.
   The above designated officials, individually or in any combination, are hereby specifically enumerated as the designee of all elected public officials in the Village of Whitehouse, Lucas County, Ohio, to serve as same as required under the provisions of the Ohio Public Records Act, Ohio R.C. 149.43.
   (b)   Council hereby adopts an official public records policy plan, which plan is in conformity with the outline for same as provided by Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann and as such same shall be in compliance in all respects with the dictates of Ohio R.C. 149.43. Said plan shall be as specifically enumerated in Exhibit A attached to Ordinance 33-2007 and incorporated by reference herein. Said plan shall be designated as official policy of the Village of Whitehouse, Lucas County, Ohio and as such is the official public policy of said Village. The plan shall be posted conspicuously in the Village Municipal Building lobby and copies shall be available to the public, upon request for same, and compliance with same shall be monitored by the designees set forth in subsection (a) hereof.
