(a) The Administrator of the Village is hereby authorized and directed to implement an identity theft policy for protection of citizens and the Municipality in covered transactions involving the Village to avoid the unauthorized dissemination of sensitive information and to provide protection to citizens, customers, and those dealing with the Village of Whitehouse in such manner as to disclose certain sensitive personal and identification information.
(b) The Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to disseminate to all Village personnel and place into full force and effect the identity theft information policy as same is set forth in Exhibit A attached to Resolution 11-2009 and incorporated by reference herein. Said policy is also available on file in the office of the Village Administrator for public review and inspection.
