Upon the completion of alterations or repair of a structure, the Chief Building Official shall issue a certificate to the effect that the structure has been altered or repaired in conformity with the provisions of this Code, or with orders issued by the Building Official, and indicating the use or uses to which the structure may thereafter be put and to what extent.
