(a) The Residential Building Code of Ohio for One, Two and Three Family Dwellings, pursuant to Ohio Administrative Code 4101:8, as set forth by the Ohio Board of Building Standards, is hereby adopted by the Village and shall apply therein and be enforced therein.
(b) The Village Administrator is hereby authorized, directed and empowered to sign and submit such applications as may be necessary to the Ohio Board of Building Standards, requesting said Board to certify the Village for enforcement of the Ohio Residential Building Code.
(c) The Village Residential Building Department and officials therein certified by the State of Ohio shall exercise enforcement authority in accordance with the Residential Code of Ohio within the statutory municipality limits of the Village and such actions as may be necessary to obtain certification are hereby approved and authorized.
(d) Upon certification, the Village shall be and is hereby empowered to collect such fees, permit costs and similar monies as authorized by the Municipal Code of the Village of Whitehouse and as same shall be authorized pursuant to requirements of the State of Ohio as same shall be charged at date hereof or as same shall be charged in the future.
