The town hereby establishes a convenience fee, which is that fee charged by the credit card company/electronic payment provider to the consumer or retailer when using a credit card/electronic payment to pay invoices, fines, or bills. This convenience fee will be in addition to the amount due to the town for charges and shall be payable to the town. The convenience fee will only be for what the credit card company/electronic payment provider is charging the town for processing of credit card/electronic payments.
