Except as may be otherwise required by town ordinance or state statute, all appointments made by the Town Council to town boards, committees, or commissions shall be for one year, and shall be made at any regular meeting of Council. Appointments to fill vacancies may be made as they occur for the unexpired portion of the one-year term.
