The White Hall Advertising and Promotion Commission is hereby created. Said Commission shall be composed of seven members, each of whom shall be residents of the county in which the corporate limits exist, as follows:
(A) Four members shall be owners or managers of businesses in the tourism industry, at least three of whom shall be owners or managers of hotels, motels or restaurants, and who shall serve for staggered terms of four years; and the four tourism industry positions provided for in this section shall be filled by appointment made by the governing body of the city for staggered terms so that:
(1) One member will serve a term of one year;
(2) One for a term of two years;
(3) One for a term of three years;
(4) One for a term of four years.
(B) Two members of the Commission shall be members of the governing body of the city and selected by the governing body and shall serve at the will of the governing body; and,
(C) One member shall be from the public at large and shall serve a term of four years; and,
(D) Vacancies on the Commission, whether resulting from expiration of a regular term or otherwise, in any of the four tourism industry positions or in the at-large position shall be filled by appointment made by the remaining members of the Commission, with the approval of the governing body of the city.
